I won't be taking my vehicles anywhere else, it's worth my time to drive from Blaine to Elk River to go to SBR. Andrew and his team have taken excellent care of both my car and my wife's car. More details: We were in a difficult spot when we needed to replace the catalytic convertor on my wife's car a couple years ago. SBR quoted us a fair price for the parts and labor, and got the work done in a timely manner, and we've had zero issues with the repair. Extremely easy to work with. Excellent first impression. Now, earlier this month, my car was experiencing electrical issues. I did what maintenance and troubleshooting I could, but it quickly proved to be outside of what I was comfortable doing. I got quotes from a couple of shops closer to me, but those places were extremely overpriced and had no promises about being able to fix the issue. I then took my car to SBR, and they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it, while checking over my earlier work and being honest with me about where I had made a couple of small mistakes. They also quoted me a fair price for some additional work; oil change, tire rotation, brake fluid. I was happy to have them do those jobs while they had the vehicle, because they've earned my trust and my business. All told, I spent less money than I expected, and got more work done than I had hoped for. A win-win. Should have just brought it to SBR in the first place; I won't mess around with the competition next time. SBR is a rarity in the modern world of car repair. We need more businesses like this one! You will not regret taking your vehicle here for any sort of maintenance or repair.

I had nothing short of an excellent experience at SBR Automotive. I went in for a Pre Purchase Inspection as I wanted to get a vehicle inspected before purchasing. Not only was the work that they did excellent, but the customer service was next level as well. For 100$ I got the vehicle thoroughly inspected and had at least 3 people chatting with me, explaining everything thoroughly, and helping me through any questions that I had. Great price, great service, great customer service. The mechanic who serviced my vehicle (Andrew) even reached out to me a few days later to make sure everything was still going well. Phenomenal. Nothing short of 5 stars. If only I lived closer to these fellas, I would take my vehicle there 10 times out of 10.

They have amazing customer service. Everything was explained clearly and precisely I knew what to expect. They took me home with the shuttle, and then the shuttle driver picked me back up when my car was finished and brought me back to The shop. The following day I got a text asking me if my car was working properly or I needed any help which I did not because they did the job well. I highly recommend them.

SBR was able to squeeze me in on 2 hours notice. A plastic panel under my front had come loose, and was almost dragging on the ground. They were able to reattach it with new screws, and I was out the door in 45 minutes. Also they said no charge for this repair! This is service you rarely find, with such friendly and knowledgeable staff. I now take both vehicles here and trust what they do.

While most shops avoided our Chevy Volt like the plague (EV heat wasn't working) due to it having a High Voltage Battery, SBR was able to diagnose our heating issue and fix it inexpensively (cut wire, bad fuze, system reset). Complete with a follow-up text two months later when the weather turned cold. Great service, highly recommend.

Had a great experience at SBR. Had some electrical issues I needed diagnosed including my trailer brake controller. Everything is working. Also, had them change oil on my differentials and transfer case. Pricing was resonsonable for 2 days of trouble shooting and maintenance. Went in because my Honda Fit had 4 lights turn on out of nowhere, they were honest, respectful, extremely friendly and kept me up to date with everything involving my car. They had spent a day running diagnostic tests and told me everything they saw was wrong with my car, they told me what turned the lights on, what to look out for in the near future and what is important to do now without pressuring me into buying anything I didn't want to pay for or couldn't afford and I got it back repaired next day. They even called the Honda dealership for me with my VIN to ensure my car is under warranty for the fuel injectors if it does misfire again after the repair. 10/10 experience.

Was able to bring it in next day to start service, something that seems rare now. Andrew did a full inspection on my truck even though it was just in for an A/C Compressor. Found numerous other small issues but gave it to me straight without trying to add on other expenses to the repair. He also helped me deal with the warranty company that gave us grief trying to repair it. Wound up paying nothing at all.
